Branding Webinar Series: The purpose and function of trade marks

25 August 2021 | 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Did you know a trade mark can be a valuable marketing tool for your business, helping to establish your brand value and build customer trust and loyalty?

Building brand recognition through trade marks such as words, names, logos, shapes and symbols can help distinguish your goods and services from your competitors, ultimately building branding equity within your industry.

Australia’s registered system for trade marks gives the owner exclusive usage rights in relation to the registered goods or services and the ability to authorise others to do so, allowing trade mark protection to be enforceable nationally. But do you know if you need one?

Join us for this free session in our webinar series, providing a practical overview of the purpose and function of trade marks, including:

  • What is a trade mark
  • Benefits of trade mark registrations
  • Key considerations in determining whether you should register your trade mark

Questions will be taken on the day but you can also submit your questions in writing before the session to

A recording of the webinar will be made available to those registered to attend.
