Business Breakfast: Skills Paradox – How growth mindset and emotional intelligence are the skills that determine your success

18 May 2018 | 7:15 am - 9:00 am

Every Skilled and Professional Service business is initially built on the foundations of the Technical Skills of the founders. However, building a successful organisation is more about the skills which have not been developed in either professional education or training. This is the ‘Skills Paradox’ – highly skilled people are missing critical business skills to succeed. These crucial missing skills are related to Increasing Revenue, Developing People for Performance and building Efficiency through Measurement, as well as critical Mindset and Emotional Intelligence skills.

Join Simon Frayne, Formula 1 for Business, for another Stirling Business Association informal Business Breakfast as Simon shares why defeating this skills paradox is critical to your success and it’s the Mental and Emotional Skills that underpin all other Business Skills.

Stirling Business Association hosts several informal and casual Business Breakfasts during the year to provide SBA members and the wider small business community access to a broad range of relevant business issues presented by dynamic presenters. The breakfasts are relaxed and casual and the presenters accessible so you feel comfortable to ask those burning questions while having the opportunity to meet and connect with a diverse range of local small businesses. The morning will begin with mingling, followed by a sit-down hot breakfast and coffee as you enjoy listening to your guest speaker.

Matt Cooper – “I’m looking forward to the next breakfast! Good food, good content and good networking.”

Karen Bradshaw – “A great brekkie event with a very interesting topic and stories. It was good to meet some new guests/members.”

Ockert Du Plooy – “Thanks SBA! Was a great brekkie, discussions & networking! Look forward to the next one.”
